Crest fallen roses wash ashore
upon the fabric's of your illusive mind
Each inscribed with blackened words,
foretelling of your pained broken heart
Waves thunder against the structured
walls of your conscience
Forcing your mind to fracture
under the weight of simple love.

Based on Final Fantasy XIII-2,with Lightning and Caius.The poem isn't based on the fan-fiction of them being together(couple).But mainly a poem that involves both of their tales in the beginning,where Lightning washes ashore and their battle,to how Caius is pained with Yeul's fate.
I wrote this along the time of "Caius's Ballad" and "Lightning's Song"
